Jessica Brown is a former Art Teacher. She has experience teaching Visual Arts to students in grades Pre-K - 12.
Jessica created a cheerful, engaging classroom environment that instilled a love of learning and appreciation for the arts, in all students of all ages. Jessica integrated technology into her art curriculum with standards-based instruction and assessments. She created digital art lessons, online art galleries, teacher websites, Prezis, PowerPoint Presentations and is highly skilled in the use of the Promethean ActivBoard and the ActivInspire software program.
Artsonia Leadership Awards 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012 school years for publishing student artwork online and ranking in the top 10 for New York State. Recognized by the Board of Education and Superintendent for receiving Leadership Awards from Artsonia. Teacher of Distinction November 2011 and April 2012 Jessica was recognized as having 15 or more students accepted for publication in Celebrating Art's Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 hardcover book.

In conjuction with Artsonia, Big Screen Plaza featured a slideshow of children's artwork in New York City on a 30’x16’ LED screen. Student artwork was featured March 2-3, 2012 in Big Screen Plaza's slideshow on a 30'x16' LED screen in New York City. Artsonia, the largest online kids art museum, teamed up with the National Art Education Association to present student artwork from across the country. In conjunction with the NAEA National Convention, this video showcased artwork from several schools. Three of Jessica's elementary students had their artwork exhibited in the slideshow at Big Screen Plaza February 4-5, 2012.
