We use this packet to incorporate history and english into art class.
We pick three paintings that often relate to what my students are learning in History class. I divide my class into three groups and they analyze the works individually, read an article about the work when they get to the connections section, and then meet in groups of three to teach each other about the works and write an essay comparing and contrasting.
