This strategy is demonstrated through the use of Holocaust diaries depicting live in the Ludz ghetto in Poland. However, this strategy can be effectively used through all contents, not solely Social Studies (and not solely Holocaust and Human Behaviors). The reading is also applicable not only to Holocaust, but with a little creativity, maybe Geography, World History, Civics. Challenge accepted.
