Defending Jacob - Book Club Assignment and Discussion Questions

Hello! This document helps guide a group of students to participate in a book club for the book Defending Jacob. This book involves the psychological concepts of criminal law, the nature vs. nurture debate, the adolescent brain, and psychological disorders. It is student led by having them create their own reading goals and discussion questions. The three parts are 1) Book Club Goals and Discussion Questions, 2) Journaling, 3) After Book Discussion and Writing Prompts. The third part includes quotes and passages pulled from the book that can make their discussion more in depth and encourage debate. This purchase includes a rubric for assessment.
