First Day of School Activity Ice Breaker Game FREEBIE
A simple ice breaker activity for the first days of school. Just gather a few students together, add some dice, and let them go! Students roll the dice and then match the number they rolled to the chart. They share with their group what the chart tells them to share! Bucket Filler or Bucket Dipper Activity
This activity goes with the book, How Full Is Your Bucket, by Tom Rath.
Bucket Filler or Bucket Dipper Game:
Cut Label and glue on bucket (or bag). Cut out 30 cards double sided and place in bucket (or bag). Divide the class into two teams. Each student comes up and pulls out a card. If the card is positive (bucket filler) their team gets a point. If the card is negative (bucket dipper) their team doesn’t get a point. The team with the most points wins the game.

"My Space Bubble" is a social story created for young children. Using a hula hoop as a guide, this story helps children build an internal understanding of what personal space should look and feel like. Print and use ready to go! Or, add your own photos to deepen your child's personal connection. We introduced it to a classroom full of 4-5 year olds by reading the story and then practicing being good "space pilots" with hula hoops outside.
