Thanksgiving puzzle fun for your students! Enjoy this free printable maze. One of my favorite Thanksgiving activities for free! It’s a fun Thanksgiving holiday filler activity to use up some time, especially when kids need to settle down after a transition. The objective is to find the way to get the family through the maze to reach the Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Thank you for visiting this page! After 30+ years of teaching, these are my absolute favorite classroom-tested time fillers. Every teacher needs to have something ready when a planned lesson ends earlier than anticipated or the kids just need a break at the end of the period. Some puzzles I have used over the years just do not work well; these all do. What they have in common is that they are challenging, engaging to all students, and effective problem-solving/critical thinking activities. N

This free quick first-day icebreaker game of Bingo is a great way for students to get to know their classmates. Students find others that can answer "yes" to the statement in the blank and have them initial it. The first student to get five in a row wins. (Or the first one who gets them all signed wins.) I suggest a time limit of five minutes, but you can set your own time limit. It works well at beginning of the year or new semester. You can also use it after returning from spring break or i

Bingo Board- Blank and Editable

I use this bingo board often in my class. I printed a class set on bright colored card stock then laminated them so students can use them over and over with dry erase markers. This is an easy and fun way to add an activity to your lesson. A simple way to use it, is to have students complete a work sheet and then put their answers on the board. You then call the correct answers. It turns a boring worksheet into something fun! Every classroom should have a set!
