I work at a Daily 5 school, and found trouble with making sure all students were able to spend enough time in each center during our daily 40-minute block. So, I devised two schedules - one for a five-day week and one for a four-day week. This way, students have more guidance in which centers to do when, and I have peace of mind knowing that students are spending the time they need at each center. Concept Imagery Checklist
This concept imagery checklist is used by Lindamood-bell Learning Processes in order to target students struggling with comprehension due to a lack of imaging while reading.
When downloaded, edit and manipulate document to fit your reader needs (i.e.; if there are more than three paragraphs that your student is imaging, you will need to add more imagery squares/felts)

Direct vs. Indirect Characterization Card Sort
I did not include a key for either of these card sorts. In many cases, it depends on the level of the anlaysis the students are thinking at. I am more interested in the text evidence and explanation they give for their sorting.This card sort includes 2 levels of determining direct versus indirect characterization. Level one is simple direct and indirect. Level 2 looks more specifically at how the characterization was developed: action, affect, thoughts, words...
