Using Google Earth to Teach Ontario Social Studies
Here are 9 lessons for Canadian teachers to use to teach grade's 4-6 Social Studies. Report card expectations are given for all 9 lessons. Each lesson involves, to varying degrees, Google Earth as a teaching point for instruction, or as a teaching point for student learning. Some lessons for completely inquiry focused!

Universally Designed Multiple Intelligence Centres: Terry Fox
I created these 9 centres to introduce my grade 3 & 4 students to using multiple intelligence centres to show their learning. They can be easily adapted for other grades. I printed pages 6 and 7 from the math/fundraising lesson on the Terry Fox Organization's website to get facts for the verbal-linguistic centre and math-logic centre. I included the link below because it's not my work, but there are lots of free lessons that terryfox.org created and shares.

These pages can be used to create covers for class books. Glue them to card stock or construction paper and laminate for durability.
