Claim, Evidence and Reasoning (C.E.R.) Rubric NGSS
This is a rubric that is specifically design for CER's. In next generation science and now in general, science is all about CER's. The student creates a claim based on observations. Then collects evidence to collaborate claim. Finally, the student uses scientific concepts, theories, and laws to reason why his/her claim is a valid claim. Please see my 3 C.E.R. specific tests.

This is a two part project. Students are given a small pizza box in which they have to create a square for their element to be a part of the class periodic table. The at-home portion of the project is the creation of the square. The in class project is to create a commercial to "advertise" the element assigned. PBL: Scientific Method

This project was created to allow students to choose a chemical they are interested in researching and apply some of the main concepts from the semester to their chosen chemical.
