Velocity vs Acceleration: How Do They Compare?
This worksheet compares constant velocity to a car accelerating. Students graph a car starting from rest from a red light and accelerating at a constant rate speed of 6 m/sec2. They compare this to a truck already moving at a constant speed. Students get a lot of practice calculating the average speed and manipulating acceleration. The students then graph their results and interpret the graph.

Here is a useful worksheet we have used with PE and KE. It calculates the PE and KE of a toy car performing a loop-da-loop. I have included a second version of the worksheet without the equations showing.I ask for the PE at the top of the hill, the velocity as it leaves an exit ramp.
