INVENTION- CREATIVITY WORD PROMPT: GRADES 4-8: MG,GIFTED & TALENTED, SCIENCE

This is a science related writing prompt using imagination and creativity. Students are asked to imagine an invention and write about it. Then, students draw a picture of it. They are prompted to mention the invention's capabilities, as well. Use it for a class contest. Use it for a science supplemental lesson. Use it for a science club! Hang them up on a bulletin board for visitors! Imagination is much more important than knowledge, as Einstein has taught us. Knowledge is limited.
