To further assist my Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Students in learning about Deaf Culture, I created a basic True or False Study Guide that consists of 21 differing questions. If you're looking for a basic resource to discuss a variety of ideas and concepts about Deaf Culture, this item is for you! Remember the TV Game show $1,000,000 Pyramid? It's a great way to practice FS! Print as many sets of the cards as you like.
Divide students into pairs or groups of 3-4. Give one student in each group a category card and write the category on the board. S1 can give hints as to the words that are on the card, S2 (3-4) must guess the five words on the card by fingerspelling them.
Set a timer for 2 min and see which pair/group can guess all/the most words in the category!
