This unit calendar goes hand in hand with my Notes for Song Analysis and the Project Based Assessment for Song/Music Video Analysis.When I have previously implemented this unit, it takes about 3 1/2 weeks, including time allocated in class for speeches. You could easily make it a longer unit, if you wanted to analyze more songs in class, or if you wanted to build a mini-poetry unit in at the front end.
