Taste Test Valentines Day STEM Activity
This Taste Test uses the 'Dessert Hearts' Conversation Hearts from Target- you could use any variety of Conversation Hearts though.
Students will decide whether or not they think sight (seeing a certain color) affects what they taste. This is a partner STEM activity. One partner will wear a blindfold while tasting, and the other will not. They will then decide if they think taste and sight are related. There are many extension activities you could do off of this!

First cut out the Valentines day cards quotes then assist the student in making the card. You can use this product with a student who utilizes an AAC device by having them choose which quote they would like then having them write the sentence in their AAC device, promoting generalization of the device as well as locating new symbols and creating simple sentences. The child can then hand out the cards, while assessing for appropriate pragmatics and practicing gaining attention of the receivers.
