America the Beautiful Door Decorating Contest and Judges Rubric
This is a really fun way to get your students into a patriotic day or event. This was used for the Presidential Inauguration in 2012, but this can be used in many grades. The kids created really wonderful examples to them of "America the Beautiful." Have fun and enjoy!

Presidents' Day Number Cube Game
This game is great for all elementary and middle school Math classes. All you need is 4 number cubes (dice). Your students can use calculators or mental math. The directions are posted at the top of the game. It's similar to the popular Math 24 game.
Player 1 rolls all four dice and has 1 minute to use any of the four operations and the four digits showing on the dice to try to get one answer found on his side of the board. If Player 1’s answer is on his side of the board, he colors that shape.

Presidential Challenge Scavenger Hunt
This is a 20 question worksheet about the Presidents of the United States. It asks about general trivia and interesting facts about the Presidents. Included with the questions are 100 facts about the Presidents where the answers can all be found, as well as an answer sheet.
The questions could also be used on their own as a research tool in cooperation with other books or technology.
