I have used this WebQuest to introduce "Fahrenheit 451" and "The Catcher in the Rye," but it could be used with any novel/play/story from the era. The WebQuest asks students to investigate popular food, entertainment, and recreation of the time period, and then to analyze what all of those things mean together.
