This activity is a review for Algebra I or 7th/8th grade math laws of exponents.
I place the problems all over the room, students are in partners and "travel the world" together. After each problem (in a different city), they are to check their answers with me - it is their "passport," and if they are right, then I stamp their paper and they move on to another city. The kids really enjoy it - it keeps them moving - and engaged at their own pace!

Simple & Compound Interest Dice Game
As students learn the formulas for calculating simple and compound interest, they can practice plugging in numbers and calculating different amounts.
The file is in a Word Document so that you can edit the dice as necessary for different colors. When we do this activity, we use dry erase dice for the simple and compound die that is rolled. We also set it up competition style to see who can get the most money with one roll of the dice!
