Herbs and Spices Breakout Game
This is a super fun, high-energy class game to get students learning about herbs and spices. The Escape room style really adds a heightened element to an already fun hands-on activity. Students try to identify samples of herbs and spices using smell, sight and a worksheet of clues. Once they have successfully identified them, they use Google Forms to Breakout and win the game!

Mexican Cuisine Matching Activity
This matching activity could be done at the beginning of a unit on Mexican cuisine, or as part of a culminating lesson. Students match the cuisine term with either a description or picture (in the attachment, the correct answer directly follows the cuisine term).
