A Super Hero Unit
In this unit students will create a comic book hero and explore the use of vivid adjectives and powerful verbs. In unit 2 they will decide what qualities real life heroes have and choose a heroic person to research. Unit 2 will then guide your students through the process of writing a quality Hero Essay. As a culminating activity (Unit 3) your students will bring their hero to life in a Living Wax Museum.
