I created this Geometry vocabulary organizer to help prepare my students for the final exam. It has about 60 terms. I tried to skip obvious ones like acute angle and the types of triangles. Feel free to adapt my geometry vocabulary organizer to suit your needs. It starts with Line and I emphasize the parts of circles since my students struggle with those. I end the organizer with Trigonometry and the different types of conditional statements. There is a spot for students to write the definition

Geometry Proof Helper & Study Guide 1st semester

I created this booklet-style geometry guide for my TAG/GT students -- 8th graders taking High School Geometry. It covers the first 7 chapters of the text book (our first semester), leaving room for notes on the primary theorems and definitions in each chapter. I allowed my students to use this booklet during quizzes so they could double check their reasons for each step in their proofs. They really made good use of this study aid. It is in word booklet format and you will have to print out u

One of the biggest complaints I hear from students is that they don't know how to take notes in math! I have organized Geometry lessons into fill-in style notes pages. I feel that many students would fill in a page like this whereas they would not necessarily take notes on a blank sheet of paper. This way I have already organized how I am going to present the lesson and students just have to follow along and fill in their notes page as the lesson is taught. Often I will give out a Notes pack

This 3 page document is a set of guided notes for teaching triangle inequalities and how to compare sides and angles of a triangle. Go through the notes with the class as student write in the notes. Includes problems called "Am I a Triangle?" and listing sides and angles in order from shortest to greatest. Can be used the day after an investigative activity in which students use linguini to make triangles and non-triangles and measure side lengths.
