This activity came about to help students better understand feudal contracts. After learning about them, the idea is to have students in pairs negotiate feudal contracts. Each student will be a lord or vassal in the negotiation. I also used it in groups of three, with the third acting as a mediator. When I did this activity, I had the students do this twice, once from each perspective and with a different partner. Can be part of a larger feudalism lesson or unit.
