I created this activity to use on the first day or the first week of school to get my students acquainted with all of the books in our classroom library. This document is editable so you can make adjustments to meet the needs of your students.
It is nothing fancy, but I couldn't find anything free that was similar, so I created my own. I hope it will be useful for you.
After reading the clue, students need to figure out what genre the question is talking about. Then, have students search the library for books that fit under the genre. This gets them familiar with the library, as well as with the genres.
