Interpreting Science Graphs Activity
The thumbnails aren't showing up right. Everything will look nice when you download it :) This is a collection of 27 graphs with analyzing questions that correspond with each. In my science classroom, I had each student work on one, and then we rotated, so kids were able to see each graph. I laminated each sheet and had kids write their answers on notebook paper. Newton's Law Station Lab Activity
Students will rotate through 9 stations of Newton's Laws. Each station takes about 5-7 minutes, except for station 1 which is vocabulary. I usually leave this station in place for 2 rotations or do the station with the class as a whole before they begin the lab. Easy set up, no expensive equipment needed to get the concepts across.

Group activity where students discover the definitions for Pure Substance and Mixture. In groups, students first determine the characteristics of "yes" examples and "no" examples, they then decide whether the testers match the "yes" examples (Pure Substance), or the "no" examples (Mixture).
