Fraction Recipe Book Project
This is an activity I used to reinforce fraction operations in my 6th grade math class. The students created a class recipe book by each bringing in three of their favorite recipes. They had to include a list of ingredients, as well as instructions for doubling, tripling, or halving the recipe. Marble Roller Coaster Activity
Building and designing a marble roller coaster.
This is a great activity for motion and forces for middle and high school students.
Students use foam pipe insulation to design a roller coaster with hills, a loop and a curve.
