Rate and Unit Rate One Pager
A great way to have your students apply their skills of finding ratios, rates, and unit rates to a real-world application. Students must find the "better buy" out of the three options for markers by finding the ratios, rates, unit rates, and demonstrating how to show these options on a double number line. This is an adapted version of my other Multiplication and Division project for 3rd graders. This version includes one digit multiplication and division problems in a real-life situation of being a start-up fashion designer.
