There are two types of timelines for the life cycle of a pumpkin, a horizontal and circular timeline. I used the timelines to differentiate instruction for my students. The higher level students received the circular timeline, because they were able to understand that the life cycle is continuous and never ending. Students cut the icons and paste them in the correct boxes. This corresponded with reading texts on the life cycle of a pumpkin during fall.
