Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon Creative Writing and Art Extension
Upon completion of reading the book with my class, we complete this writing/art extension activity. It is called "Through my porthole, I see..." Students imagine being on a pirate ship and draw what they see in the inner circle. They then color the outside and I put foil on the outer circle. Students then write or type a few sentences about their drawing. Sample of student work also included to provide a visual.
