This file contains multiplication flash cards that have an array on every card to help students visualize and solve each equation from 1 X 1 up to 12 X 12. There are 6 flash cards on each page and 24 pages of flash cards. I made these for some of my 3rd grade students who need to see exactly what 5 X 6 or 8 X 9 means using arrays. I also included an ANSWER KEY as the last page in case students want to double-check their answers or write the answers on the back of their flash cards. E

This is an EDITABLE download for a worksheet that correlates with a standard deck of playing cards. It is ideal for each child to have their own deck, but you can easily do this in pairs, groups or as a class. Sadly, students don't know what is in a deck of playing cards these days. I designed this sheet to give them a quick hands on lesson where they can look in a deck and work with it to find simple probability. The first part of the sheet asks basic questions about the deck of cards: How

The ReaDraWriteâ„¢ strategy challenges students with word problems that require abstract thinking and problem solving. Students understand the problem through repeated, close reading and create a model of the solution before deciding what mathematical operations to use. Created for my middle school ESL students, this method is a good fit for students who guess or randomly choose operations, stud
