This is a sort that would be great for a literacy center or as a review activity after a mini-lesson on what sentences need to be complete. The top of the sort says: Complete Sentence and the other side says Incomplete Sentence. Students have to cut out the boxes and decide if what is in the box is a complete thought or not and then glue it underneath the correct option. Two examples are: The orange cat. and He hit the ball.

Desired outcomes: Students practice prepared scripts, film a broadcast, critique the clips, and create a criteria for improving broadcasts. Explain to students that they will practice scripts in small groups, then they will be filmed presenting their scripts. Next time we will critique them.
