Poetry Writing! Telephone Number Poetry is created by writing a telephone number vertically down a page. It can be an actual telephone number, or one made up for the poetry assignment. This is such a great research project after students have learned about genetics, DNA, and mutations. It ties in all of the curriculum and makes it real life. The students love diving into the the "medical worlds" and gives them a sense of professionalism as they present. This comes with an Excel spreadsheet that I couldn't attach to this, so its a free resource on my shop. It has list of genetic disorders that students can choose from.
