TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After getting a degree in biology and a master's in biology education, I've taught various science classes from 7th through 12th grade. I'm currently teaching 7th science and love working with these enthusiastic kiddos every day!

MY TEACHING STYLE

As Ms. Frizzle says: Take Chances, Make Mistakes, Get Messy! She really is my hero and I strive to give my kids as many authentic, hands-on science experiences as possible. I want them to fall in love with the scientific process and constantly ask "but why? how? what happens next? what if?". The more they talk to each other, engage in debate, and offer new information they've found on their own, the better class it is!!
