I created this Model UN unit for Grade 6 Social Studies. After introducing Model United Nations (MUN) to my students, I arranged students into member state groups (eg. India, Belgium, etc). I based this unit on two themes: water and refugees. I led a lesson on an issue in Canada (eg.
