Looking for a quick fun project to do with students in the winter? This is a template for a snow globe that can turn from something 2D to 3D! I have my students color and add winter objects in the template and then I cut black strips of paper that are 3X12 staple them so they are round and cut two slits. Then the snow globe can be placed in the slits to make a 3D take home project! I usually copy these on light blue paper so the students can use white crayons to color the snowman and snowflakes

Horse Coloring Page
This year for Chinese New Year (2014) is the year of the Horse. I had my artistic older brother create a horse picture for me to use with my ESL students. I'm going to have my students color and cut out the picture and attach it to their Chinese New Year Writing assignment. This would also be a great picture to use when elementary students are learning about the farm and farm animals.
