Example of students playing first to 100 We played "First to 100" to practice subitizing skills, counting, and working in teams the first week-month of school. We also played "First to 0" starting at 100 and writing backwards. Throughout the year there are many other ways we play this game. The bonding sheet helps the students avoid errors. When they get to the tenth square, there will always be a friendly number of ten. When we play first to 1 whole the students are writing decimals.
