Created by
Senora Payne

If read correctly and in the right order, the lines form a story about a kid named Miguel running errands. Here's how it works: Put students in pairs. (So they are using the imperfect progressive and preterite all at once!) They have five minutes to convert this information into a

I used this template in my Spanish class. Students first wrote a story in Spanish, then they illustrated the story in the six boxes below. It was almost like a comic strip. They put so much effort into this project, and it was an excellent way to help them learn how to conjugate verbs correctly, learn new vocabulary, and understand how to use transitional words. Though I used this specifically for Spanish, it could be used for any foreign language class or even an English class.

La Francophonie for French I - Beginning French II

So many times, students and parents do not see the far-reaching effects of the French language unless we involve them. This is an assignment that I created just this school year to get students aware, educated and involved about the importance of the Francophone world. Students learn about their country in the TARGET language. Students create a 1-2 minute video about their country (cannot be France or Canada) in the target language and you help them learn cognates and pronunciation. Students
