I am using this document to help with make up tests and quizzes when students are out. It can be used for other assignments as well. When a student misses a quiz or test, I will update the document with the title of what they missed, the original date it was taken, and the deadline to make it up. Do your students ask to leave class too often? Do they need help asking for permission to leave class in Spanish?
I photocopy these on colored paper and cut them out. There are 8 passes on a sheet. In my class, students receive 2 passes per quarter, but you could do more or less depending on your students.
Students hand these in to me when they need to go to the bathroom, get water, go to their locker, etc.
In my class, students who don't use their Permisos can cash them in for bonus points
