This is a project I created to use in my 6th-8th grade computer apps classes. Students use a variety of websites and Google Docs to design their own restaurant. Activities include choosing a concept and atmosphere, designing a logo, shopping for decor on a restaurant supply site, reading about the types of employees present in a restaurant and making staffing decisions, and researching appropriate foods to create a menu.
