This rap teaches about saying no to drugs. It was used at Red Ribbon Week for an assembly. This is a rap with audience participation. You need to create a beat with it. There are only a few speaking parts, but it is short and fun for the participants. The child asks the questions, the teacher answers the questions and the punks try to get the child to take drugs. Diversity in Drama - Iceberg Identity
Icebergs are large chunks of ice that break off from glaciers and float in the ocean. Typically, only 10% of the iceberg is visible above the water. The other 90% looms below the surface. Like icebergs, we as humans also only share so much of ourselves to those around us. You have to really get to know us to see below the surface (the other 90%). I created the Iceberg Identity Diversity Project to help my students celebrate their differences and see themselves represented in theatre.
