This unit outline focuses around writing a synthesis essay. The guiding question in the unit looks at how food is ingrained in American culture. Students research traditions, health, entertainment, and even how we show love through food in our culture. The sources included incorporate Ted Talks, articles, CommonLit short stories, TikToks, and YouTube videos.
