Following the U.S. Civil War, regiments of African American men known as buffalo soldiers served on the western frontier. The Struggle for Girl Empowerment in China
Students will be able to
- explain the history of the women’s rights struggle in China and identify key figures in Chinese feminist history,
- evaluate what are the current issues facing girls and women in China today,
- work collaboratively to debate the Family Planning Policy,
