2D Art 1 Syllabus
2D Art 1 Syllabus is a course overview of the curriculum I have designed for our beginning art programs. This spreadsheet is ideal to record observations, assessment and data of students working at Severe and Profound or Moderate General Learning Disability level (Irish curriculum). I am trying to include more Media Arts into my Visual Arts curriculum in 2015. Here I have made a table comparing the two with their content descriptors. Also at the bottom of each page, there are the achievement standards.

First Day of Art Letter Template - WORD DOC
This is a word doc template for an introductory "Welcome to Art"-style letter for middle school students. I have included prompts for you to insert your own relevant info (name, school name, class details, social media/contact info).
TIP: I combine a letter like this with a permission slip for uploading/publishing to Artsonia.com and send them both home on the first day of class!

This is a pretty straight forward template for an arts based day camp, although the basic structure could be formatted to any theme or time frame! This schedule keeps campers working steadily on art projects to meet a cumulative goal at the end of the week. I've had fantastic success with this program format over the last five years and has been one of my most reliable templates to date!
