Hispanic Country Presentation Project and Rubric Spanish
This document doubles as a rubric and instructions for a Spanish Speaking country presentation. You could also edit it to use for an essay or a group project, and to be researched at home or in school.
It includes links to the CIA World Fact Book, WorldBank.org, and Numbeo cost of living.
Here's how we did it with Intermediate students:
1 day in class with ipads to research information (40 minutes)
1 day in class to organize presentation (40 minutes)
1-3 days presenting, depending on class

This rubric assesses students on the Family of My Dreams Project in each area of the required 6 people in the family tree as well as Layout & Neatness, Pictures, Adjective Agreement, Labeling & On-task behavior/Participation. Do you wish you students were more aware of the world around them? This document includes a description of "Los Eventos Actuales" (current events). I use it in my Spanish 2 honors class but it could be adapted for any language/culture. It includes a rubric as well as the ACTFL proficiency levels. If used throughout the year you will be able to see their writing in the target language improve. In addition, they become aware of world events that are happening outside of their neighborhood.

Daily French 15- Homework Tracker
Help students build the habit of using French outside the classroom by doing something they enjoy in French for 15 minutes each day (like watching French YouTube videos/their favorite Netflix show in French, reading, learning lyrics to a French song, journaling in French, etc). Postcard project
I used this as an end of unit project. This is the rubric for the project. The students are required to write a postcard using basic 1st year foreign language vocabulary. I used this for my Spanish I students, however I have also adapted it for my beginning ELL students.
