Lectio Pictura - A Form of Reflective Journaling About Comics & Graphic Novels
This form of journaling is based on the meditative writing of the Benedictine monks’ lectio divina, in which the writer readers scripture and attempts to look closely into the text for personal meaning.
Lectia Picture uses a similar method but secular in nature, and one that will focus more on careful literary analysis while still seeking ways in which we, the audience, are connecting to and finding meaning in the comics we are reading.
