Math Lab: Dialations
Dialations is a detailed math investigation. Students work together in small groups to practice forming dialations on a coordinate grid. The investigation is formatted around three key areas for a successful lesson: KWL chart (set goal for lesson, assess prior knowledge, share learned knowledge), Practice (student exploration) and Exit Question (quick assessment).

This follows the New VA SOL's. I have set some interactive questions as well as some multiple choice. The front cover I let them "dump their brain" about the topic.
Students need to find 2 partners that can help them work on the problem. After the time is up they switch to another group and work out the next problem.
