This logic statements activity is for students in grades 8-12.
Students practice applying various types of logic statements including conditional, converse, inverse, contrapositive, biconditional, and laws of detachment and syllogism in the context of a story. Middle School students will create plush toys and a story book based on a monster drawn by a Kindergarten student. Students will be given only minimal guidance as they solve problems encountered in the process. Students will also keep records of the process using process symbols and journaling.
