Fill-in Comics are a great formative assessment or creative way to take notes. This mini-comic asks students to identify how wavelength changes when the pitch of a sound changes. Students need to be taught that when the pitch of a sound goes up (a higher, squeakier sound) the shorter the wavelength is (the crests are closer together).
