The lifeline pass is the perfect way to solve backlash about workload from students and parents in Advanced Placement courses. Teens are now the most stressed out age group in the United States and AP courses are very intense. In order to help my students with the intensity I offer one lifeline pass per quarter. The students can use the lifeline pass to extend the period to turn something in by 48 hours, without a late penalty. The pass can not be used on a summative assessment like a project. I
