Try It Before You Buy It! NGSS Force and Motion - Sail Car (grades K &3)
That's right! Download a free copy of the sail car lesson for free. I decided that I wasn't making very much through TPT and would rather have teachers access and use my resources for free.

Whenever I introduce a lesson, I try to have loads of pictures and information. I felt the my students took well to this Penguin lesson so I thought I'd post it. Since I didn't take the photographs I'm not charging. I did a lesson with my Kinder art classes on drawing habitats and will use the same document to intro a sculpture lesson with my first grades. Five Shape Week projects
Enclosed is a five-day plan, incorporating colors, shapes and transportation themes. It is a great way to segue between topics. Follow up lessons can include dramatic play, where children pretend they are riding on a train, in a rocket or in a fire engine. This is a fun hands-on science experiment to do in your classroom to accompany any winter unit, a lesson on solids and liquids, or a simple yet fun science experiment to do during the winter months!
