This beginner experiment explores what substances float, ad which ones sink. It defines the words liquid and solid. There are two pages for the students to complete with predictions and results. This is a lower level experiment and does not require that much writing. Students draw smiley faces and frowns based on their predictions and results. There is also a supply list and an answer key!
