Homework Expectations Letter
With the new standards and Engage NY/Eureka Math curriculum I have had many concerned/angry parent emails. Math teachers get all the complaints! This Expectations letter helps parents and students understand their role when doing homework. It also has a whole page of online resources that I use with my families. I left it as a publisher file to be fully editable.

Have you ever played "J'ai//Qui a?" This is the same timed game loved by students, focusing on the verbs "aimer" and "d���©tester" A student says "J'aime le chien. Qui aime le chat?" This is a fun activity that can be done either as a reading or oral exercise to practice body part vocabulary and adjectives. Each student will read or hear the description of an alien in Spanish and draw it. Students enjoy interpreting Spanish through drawing and also have fun looking at and comparing each other's pictures. This activity is also a great way to practice descriptive adjectives.
